Kids baptism process

JourneyLand partners with families of children that have a desire to learn more about baptism. In order to honor the significance and meaning of baptism, we have prepared the following steps to help you walk your child through the process and answer any questions you may have along the way.
  1. Register: Sign up for an upcoming JourneyLand Baptism Class. Our next class is August 4th at 2:00pm.
  2. Attend: The JourneyLand Baptism Class is a 45-minute age appropriate presentation that is intended for your child and at least one parent. This class will help guide your family discussions on whether or not this is the right time for your child.
  3. Complete: Finish the follow-up material from class, and use it as a tool to lead family discussions.
  4. Meet: If your child is ready to be baptized, you will both meet with a JourneyLand leader. This is an opportunity to talk through your child’s salvation decision and discuss why they want to be baptized.
  5. Schedule: The next step is working with the staff to register for a baptism date. The next baptisms are August 25th.
  6. Baptize: This is the big day!  Invite family, friends, and small group leaders to celebrate this amazing event!
  7. Next Steps: Help your child identify their “Next Step” as they grow in their relationship to Jesus. JourneyLand offers age appropriate Small groups and partners with parents to identify service opportunities.
