Summer INternships
JourneyLand is looking for talented, high-energy leaders interested in receiving hands-on training, and experience serving others in the area of Kids ministry. Selected interns will help plan and conduct kids day camps, church programing, and special events on our Evans and Sherwood campuses.
Duties
Eligibility
The JourneyLand Summer Intern Program is open to young adults who have completed High School. If you are outside of the United States, a Visa is required.
Dates
The JourneyLand Summer Intern Program runs from May 18th thru August 7th. Intern schedules are created on a individual basis during the application process.
Skills Required
Must love Jesus, love kids, love serving others, be a trainable team player, and pass a criminal background check.
Outside Employment
The internship requires flexible hours and sometimes last minute requests. Interns are permitted to work a part time job provided it does not interfere with internship work hours, scheduled church services, day camps, and special events.
Compensation
We strongly believe that if God has called you to this program, He will provide the way for you. Interns are fully responsible to raise their own support during the program. One of the prerequisites to leadership is being able to cast a vision and have others support it.
As an intern you will be paid a small weekly stipend to help offset living expenses such as gas, food, etc.
Housing
Free housing in the form of host homes is available for those who live outside of the area.
